Some love stories are written between two people. Ours was written between our hearts and this valley.
Long before there was a road, a house, or a place called Beit Aoukar, we used to come here for one simple reason: to feel alive.
We would spend hours watching wildlife wander through the forest, waiting for the sun to paint the mountains in shades of gold, breathing the crisp mountain air, and listening to the silence that only nature can create.
On many nights, we slept beneath the stars. Before sunrise, we would wake to the songs of birds and watch the forest slowly come to life.
With every visit, we fell deeper in love.
Not only with this place, but with the feeling it gave us—a feeling of peace, freedom, and belonging.
One day, we decided to follow our hearts.
We bought a piece of land hidden in the heart of the forest. There was not even a road leading to it, so we built one.
It was not easy, but every challenge was worth it because we believed some places are worth fighting for.
Then we built a small home among the trees.
So we created Beit Aoukar.
Not simply as guesthouses, but as a place where others could experience the same feeling that changed our lives.
A place where the soul of a traditional Lebanese mountain home meets modern luxury, where every sunrise brings peace, every sunset tells a story, and every stay becomes a memory.
Everything here was created with love.
